A dramatic palm-tree-filled sinkhole at the bottom of a cliff on Niue's east coast — reached via a lava-rock walk and a wooden ladder down. Like nowhere else on the island.
What to do
Walk in (30 min one-way over sharp coral). Climb down the ladder into the sandy palm grove. Not for those with vertigo.
