What to do
Walk a section of the Queen Charlotte Track with boat transfers (no need to do the full 4 days). Mail boat run from Picton — full day on the working postie boat. Kayak the inner sounds.

Bay of Many Coves Resort — water-access-only, 11 apartments on the cove. Furneaux Lodge for the heritage option.
