Planning a group programme?
What is included
Every group programme we operate is ground-handled end to end by our own team. That typically covers airport meet-and-greet, private coaches with experienced drivers, qualified tour guides or tour managers, hotel accommodation contracted for groups, selected meals, entrance fees and activities, domestic flights and ferry crossings where the itinerary needs them, and luggage handling between stops. We can also add specialist guides for wine, food, Māori culture, nature or special-interest themes. Inclusions are always itemised in the proposal so you know exactly what your clients are paying for, and what is left to them.
How a brief is quoted
Send us the basics: approximate group size, preferred travel dates or season, the style of travel, accommodation standard, any must-see places and a working budget. Our planners build a first-pass itinerary with realistic travel times and return a costed proposal at net rates, normally within two working days. From there we refine the programme with you, adjusting hotels, pacing and activities until it fits your client. Once confirmed, we issue a detailed itinerary, supplier confirmations and final documents, and we keep you updated on any changes before departure.
Group sizes and lead times
We regularly handle groups from small private parties of eight to ten up to coach groups of forty or more, and multi-coach departures for larger associations and series. Hotel and coach availability is the main constraint, so for peak months, popular events and destinations with limited capacity such as Milford Sound, Queenstown or island resorts, we recommend starting the conversation nine to twelve months ahead. Shorter lead times are often possible outside peak season; tell us your dates and we will be honest about what can still be secured.
Regions we cover
We operate group tours across all of New Zealand, from Auckland and the Bay of Islands to Rotorua, Wellington, Marlborough, Christchurch, the West Coast, Queenstown and Fiordland. In Australia we combine Sydney, Melbourne, Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef, the Red Centre, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. Programmes can finish with a stay in Fiji or another South Pacific island, all on one booking with one ground partner and 24/7 on-trip support throughout.
